When it appeared as though the Packers would win the game, the Falcons pulled off an incredible comeback. An exciting fourth quarter was set up by a 45-yard pass from Desmond Ridder to Mack Hollins.
The Packers’ defense made an effort to stay firm, but the Falcons trailed 24-19 after Ridder’s fourth-and-four keeper pulled them within five points.
Sadly, the Packers were unable to extend their lead and were forced to commit three straight incomplete passes. With a pivotal 29-yard play between Ridder and Bijan Robinson, Atlanta took advantage of the situation.
Under duress, Younghoe Koo scored a 39-yard field goal to cut the deficit to 24–22.
The heartbreak of the Packers in the closing seconds
In the last few minutes of the game, there was a noticeable sense of anxiety. With slightly more than six minutes left, the Packers had a chance to win, but a botched fourth-and-1 play resulted in a punt.
Seizing their chance, the Falcons marched down the field. With just 57 seconds remaining, Koo’s last-minute field goal gave the Falcons a 25-24 advantage.
The Packers attempted a last-ditch effort to score. Samori Toure appeared to receive a critical pass from Jordan Love, but the play was deemed incomplete after review, securing the Falcons’ thrilling triumph.

After all, it was a game that had spectators gripping their seats. Though the Packers had some promising moments, they were ultimately defeated by the Falcons’ perseverance and a few wasted opportunities.
